Real Relationships in a World of Isolation

Of the six million or so books on youth ministry that are out there, this one is actually pretty good. It's filled with lots of practical information, things that would be very good for volunteers, newbs, interns, etc.

Only two dog-ears in this book, here they are:

  • pg. 190 - "Follow this logic. We separate youth culture and adult culture for 22 years. Then upon graduation from college, students are immediately expected to blend with adults they have been separated from for 22 years. No wonder these young generations feel the need to start churches of their own. They've never been taught how to have relationships with anyone more than three years older than themselves."
  • pg. 198 - training volunteer leaders
